Janet,
I wanted to share a story of God at work.

I am blessed to have never experienced the pain of infertility. I do however know that this is an issue with many people. I can't imagine the depth of pain that not being able to conceive would cause me. I have a friend who has been trying to have a baby for years. However, due to medical issues, she has been unable to conceive. Recently, she had given up hope that she would ever have a child. She and her husband had talked about adoption but knew that the financial aspect would be a huge barrier. They knew that God was in control, but was afraid and disappointed that His plan might not include children. Two weeks ago she received a call from her mom saying that a family friend knew of her situation and.....wanted their fourth child to be adopted by my friend! This family is unable to care for another child and immediately thought of this young couple who has been yearning for a baby all these years. Today my friend was invited to the ultra sound appointment. To see the joy and excitement on her face is amazing. What a blessing!

Be still and know that I am God!

I love this Janet! I too need to be more watchful. It's so easy to get caught up in the daily grind and lose sight of God at work. This reminds me of the time that Isaac asked me why God doesn't do miracles anymore. He was thinking about Jonah and the whale at the time. I had to explain to him that God performs miracles every day, all around us! Somedays we might have to look a little harder than others, but miracles abound. We, too, must remember that God never rests, He is always at work.
Keep writing! I look forward to following and joining you in this journey!
